At some point in their lives virtually every child experiences a phase where they're scared of the dark. Sometimes reading a scary book, hearing a scary story, or watching a scary movie can cause this behavior. In other cases even watching a scary story in the news can frighten your youngster. Your child and you might not be aware of precisely what caused the sudden fear. Nevertheless, each time a child has concern with the dark, it can be a cause of discomfort not only for the child but in addition for other members of the family.
