All Inclusive Holidays in Egypt - Adventurous Expeditions

Avoid boring the youngsters this year on your all inclusive holidays in Egypt. Adventure-filled expeditions designed by enterprising tour operators have become very popular throughout the country. Meals in a Bedouin encampment or around a campfire are the norm, but be prepared for some early mornings and late nights.

One of the biggest attractions for people on all inclusive Egypt holidays is the nearby Red Sea. The world's northernmost tropical sea has 1,240 miles of coral reefs and attracts over 1,200 different species of fish in its warm waters. Don't worry if you've never snorkelled before though, as you'll have an experienced instructor on board who will take you through the rudiments and tell you all about the fascinating marine life that can be seen.

Beat the crowds and get a bird's eye view of the pyramids in a hot-air balloon, which is sure to be the icing on the cake of all Egypt holidays. The balloon trips last about 45 minutes and take place quite early in the morning, before it gets too hot.

You'll have to be out of bed at 3am the next morning as the heat can become unbearable later on, in order to walk up Mount Sinai. Known as the 'Moses Mountain', Mount Sinai is the place where Moses was given the Ten Commandments from God. To reach the top you'll need to climb 700 steps, as at 2,282 metres, the mountain is the tallest in Sinai.

The Oasis Heritage Museum at Bahariya has a good display on the Bedouin way of life and the Mahmoud Eid art gallery here, has clay sculptures and paintings depicting life in the desert and on an oasis. One place that you visit on the itinerary is Gilf Kebir, an impressive sandstone plateau. At approximately 7,770 square kilometres in area, it contains numerous valleys and remains of rivers.
