A Brief Overview Of Brochure Displays

By Harry Westbotham

If, like many business owners, you have designed and printed advertising brochures for your goods and services then your next goal is to ensure these are distributed to as many potential customers as possible. One way to achieve this is through the use of brochure displays, which are available in such a wide variety of style options that making the right choice may be somewhat confusing. Start by assessing the proposed location of your brochure displays.

Counter top holders are placed in a variety of places including point of sale, reception areas and entrances to stores. Such locations are conspicuous and if the brochures are intriguing then generally the uptake will be high. However, it is important to strike the right balance between areas of high footfall and too much clutter. The counter top must remain clear enough for the day to day transactions that take place there.

Wall racks are another idea if counter or floor space is not available or convenient. Both work and floor space are kept clear. Position your wall racks with care and forethought, they need to be at the correct height for everyone to be able to avail themselves of the literature on display. You will want them to be immediately visible and attractive, but not obstructing others from passing by due to the high level of interest at the display rack.

Floor racks and free standing leaflet spinners provide a lot of display opportunity, often on quite a small footprint. They are ideal in locations where many different types of literature need to be displayed, such as tourist or healthcare centres. These large display stands need to be carefully organised and labelled to ensure that the client can find the specific information they want with ease; and require plenty of space on all sides to facilitate browsing.

Leaflet stands are available in a variety of styles and dimensions. Many provide a degree of self customisation in the selection of pockets to meet your own specific requirement. Some offer full face visibility of your leaflets, whilst others offer overlapping pockets and tiers which focus initial attention on the upper third of your pamphlet.

Replenish the leaflets as they are taken, but do not place too many in the slots as it is not easy then to take a leaflet and many will end up damaged. This will result in a tatty and unappealing display.

Trade shows and market venues require stands that can be disassembled and reassembled with ease and speed yet remain durable and sturdy. Compact stands that you can relocate within your premises allow you to revitalise stale displays and grab their interest with a new look.

The right design and proportions for your location will help your brochure displays stand out from the crowd.
