Sure you know that most of a baby's day involves sleeping eating and bowel relief. Have you learned why babies' bodies move the way they move? Do you understand how babies develop? So many people do not understand the little things about why a baby grows the way it does. Other people are fascinated by the way a baby grows and develops as it is conceived, grows within the mother, is born and then grows up.

Babies are always changing and surprising you! Only half of the things you have learned about babies is correct. This article will teach you a few things about babies that you probably do not already know.
The heart is usually already pumping by the time a woman finds out that she is pregnant. It only takes about three weeks for a baby's heart to form and start working. Many women do not learn that they are pregnant until right around this time. If you ever wanted an excuse to be fascinated by babies the fact that it only takes three weeks to build a beating heart would probably do the trick! Doesn't it blow your mind that the foundation of the heart that you have now only took a few weeks to make?

A baby can create an array of sounds that will amaze even the most talented vocalist-even though it will take a while before those sounds become anything that you will be able to identify as real words. This is because the larynx (or voice box) is still developing after babies are born. This is one of the reasons that babies can make more sounds than adults. If you pay attention you will find that babies quickly learn to use certain sounds for certain things. This is why a mother can usually tell if her baby's cries mean that he is hungry or tired or that he needs a diaper change. While the rest of the baby's vital organs continue to develop after birth, the tail has usually long since disappeared into the rest of the baby's body by the time it is born. It is not unlike the way frogs develop from tadpoles. Unfortunately, not everyone's body will absorb the tail completely and some babies are born with short tails still sticking out. Surgical removal and waiting for it to be grown into are the two options that are available to parents whose babies are
