What A Deal - Mclane Lawn Edger Review

By Emma Watson

And the price is great to. Get this one it a great product!

Edging my 1/3 of an acre lot used to take me over an hour, and at the end of the task I needed a massage. With the B&D LE750, I whipped thru the task in FIFTEEN MINUTES, with no strain at all. Or I could mail it to the service center at my expense. So make sure your willing to drive or sacrifice the warranty. No papers, warranty, or directions in the box. Edger performed well, but do not believe it is "NEW."

This edger has my vote! I read the reviews and liked what I read. I'm not a fan at all of gas powered tools, so I avoid them whenever I can. Last year we moved to a new house on a corner lot, and my battery powered weed whacker was just not up to the task.

It does what they say it does and no less. It works just fine for edging but I was impressed with the trenching feature.

Takes just a few minutes to assemble. This edger does the job and more.

I have edged my yard with this tool for a few years now. Positives on this edger: It is light and easy to maneuver. I was going to purchase a Craftsman edger, but after seeing all the bad reviews, I decided not to go with gas and bought the Edge Hog after seeing all the reviews on Amazon. Got the Edge Hog out of the box.

Because the handle is so long, it has more leverage against the motor housing. This causes the product to have a see-saw effect, and because of that, the product tips over quite a bit, especially with the extension cord attached. I received many compliments from the neighbors. I was skeptical about buying an electric edger (opposed to a gas powered model). The edger does a great job where the edge of the sidewalk is vertical. Where the concrete is slightly tilted or curved, it does a reasonable job. After using a trimmer for ten years, this was a blessing to use. The first pass in edging went very smoothly, with no hitches at all. Not only that but there were places with around two inches deep of soil coming off the property and covering some of the sidewalks. I was concerned that the Edge Hog wouldn't be able to handle it and I'd have to use some other tools to clear the foliage first.
