Whilst you are most likely to spend your time sunning by the pool, and partying, there is a lot more to Ibiza than those activities alone. A cultural haven too, you should also make time for the delights that Ibiza's restaurants can offer.
No matter what you fancy eating; be it traditional Spanish Paella or a hot and steamy Italian Lasagna, pretty much any type of cuisine can be found with not too draining a search. Of course, if you really want the full Ibizan experience; why not try some of the local fare - which can be stunning?
If you are feeling braver still, perhaps you will even head for one of the German restaurants which are also popular; such is the popularity of Ibiza in Bavaria!
The food is generally of an excellent quality, no matter where you choose to eat. However, what is also excellent with all of Ibiza's restaurants is the price. Whilst recent changes have seen exchange rates slide, this is still true today where selecting the "menu del dia" at lunch, will give you three courses, wine for about ten to fifteen Euros.
There will of course be restaurants attached to the hotel or resort you are staying in, and these can be good too. However, for the real experience, seek out those along the marinas and into the countryside.
Ibiza's restaurants add so much more to your vacation than somewhere to eat but, if heading out in the summer, do be careful. More and more, lower quality, restaurants open up, and there are of course the global fast food chains. But steer away from these if you can, and follow where the local residents go the real Ibizan experience.
