The Campground Rules

By Lee Cave

If you have come to a decision to line up camp on a certain campground you're unaware of, there are some rules you've got to follow to make everyone attending that a campground delightful. These rules are especially vital to follow if you will be bringing along a family pet or camping with kids.

Maybe on of the most vital rules is to respect and keep to the boundaries of your own campsite. Make sure that your pets and kids understand these boundaries and that its not ok to invade on anybody elses under any circumstances. If other parents are not as respectful of yours, then kindly remind them. There is not any need to display any hostility and you should usually greet your neighbros on arrival. After such a genial greeting, you should be able to talk with them about any issues that crop up with their children or pets.

If you will be playing any music or using any of your vehicle ports to play with or use electronic equipment, please be mindful of your neighbours. As a rule, you must reduce all noise as low as possible by 9:00 p.m. On the other hand, if it is 2:00 p.m. And you want to play your music but the locals protest, you all should be in a position to find a happy medium but you should not have to cut your music.

Please don't hog the water source. If there are folk in line to fill up their jugs and pots, then you must quickly get what you need and move one. Find an alternative way or time to clean your pets and dishes.

Last but not least, you should be careful to keep your campsite as clean as you can. This can keep unwished-for animals and bugs away and is just commonsense. This includes putting out any fires prior to going to sleep. Don't forget to consider the other camper along with your own family or guests!
