Belgian Malinois - Protector of Home, Family and Livestock

By Angela Gymmy

The Belgian Malinois is a medium/large size dog that weighs between 40-80 lbs and is between 22" to 26" in height. Their name is pronounced MAL-in-wah. They are one of four Belgian Sheepdogs and are very work oriented and are protective of home, family and livestock.

Save on Children and Babies Clothing If you are a parent, you know how fast kids can grow out of clothing and shoes. In some cases, a child can outgrow items before even wearing them. In this regard, there is no sense in buying expensive clothes every few weeks. Consider shopping at the end of each season for next year's wardrobe. You can often find name brand close outs for a fraction of the cost. If you are worried about fashion trends, don't worry, some things never go out of style. This is the perfect time to buy socks, underwear, or pajamas.

This intelligent, energetic, protective breed is still more of a working dog than companion. They have a strong drive to work. The Belgian Malinois makes an excellent farm dog, watchdog, police dog and herding dog because of their instinct to protect their family, home or whatever else they are trained to protect.

Here's a list for a quick guide in shopping for nursery needs. First in the list should be the blanket, baby bumpers, mattress pad, and the crib sheets. All other accessories may follow.

Make sure that the nursery bedding should be made of soft and light materials. Some prefers that it should be 100% cotton and colorful. And of course, the mattress pad is a must. Babies leaked so much and mattress pads will protect nursery bedding from soaking. Baby bumpers are important too in order to protect the soft spot of the baby's head.

Baby's nursery requirements include: diaper stackers, toy bags, wall hangings, throw rugs, bassinet, pillows, and many others. To make use of the baby's crib, buy a convertible crib to make the most of it until the child reaches 3 years of age. New mother's who are confused on what to buy may seek online help and browse the products online for comparison.

Mother's may also seek the help of their friends for suggestions. Most of the time, mothers buy nursery bedding that matches the theme of the nursery room. Some choose gender-related colors or designs and patterns that match the color of the room. This however, will not affect the baby's environment, but it will bring happiness and contentment to the family members who are most happy to welcome a new member in the family.
