Fabulous Cruise Deals Are Available Now

Looking in the holiday pages of daily papers now, you will find loads of adverts for cruise deals, and amongst them will be some real bargains. As the time approaches for Christmas and early year cruises, many companies are desperate to fill their last few cabins. If you have any leave left, then you could secure a fabulous deal.

If you are able to travel with just a couple of days notice, then you will be able to snap up some of the best deals. Searching online, I found a 14 night cruise to the Caribbean, inclusive of flights for just 899 pounds per person. I also found a Caribbean cruise and stay in Vegas, including dance lessons and flights, for 499 pounds each, next August.
They really do sound fantastic deals and many of them can be. What is in the small print, however can ruin a fabulous sounding bargain. The cabins may be the most basic and located in noisy areas, or the price may not include all meals. To check that you have got a genuine deal, these points need to be checked thoroughly.

Normally, one will be expected to pay extra for drinks, gratuities and excursions, so if you have an on-board spend as part of the deal it can be very useful. All the extras mentioned can be paid for from an on-board spend. You will then be left with more money to buy souvenirs from your excursions.

Of course, cruises don't have to be just on the sea. There are also plenty of river cruises available and again you can find some amazing deals, both on line and in newspapers. If you don't fancy rivers, there are also fjord cruises, many of which give you the chance to view the Northern Lights.

Whatever type of cruise you would like to go on, it is bound to be available somewhere, and river cruises make a wonderful introduction to a country. You get to cruise right through it and see scenery all the time, unlike sea cruises. You also get to visit the major towns along the route.

While much of the time at sea you only see sea and sky, there is always the chance of spotting deep sea fish. If you are tired of watching sea and sky, there usually plenty of entertainments on board, such as spas and swimming pools. These ar

While much of the time at sea you only see sea and sky, there is always the chance of spotting deep sea fish. If you are tired of watching sea and sky, there usually plenty of entertainments on board, such as spas and swimming pools. These are not so likely to be found on river cruises. With some sea cruises you may follow a coastline, visiting selected attractions en route.

Do ensure that you have read the small print carefully, when booking. Check everything at least twice and try to get it confirmed in writing. There would be nothing worse than finding your fabulous cruise deal was not such a bargain after all.
