How do you build a dog house? Do you want it to be simple snoopy dog house? Or you want it to be luxurious and complex? Either way these dog houses have one main objective, it is to give your canine a place where it calls it "My Home". Everyone deserves a sense of privacy, not just humans but also animals. Whether luxurious or just a conventional dog house, your dog doesn't care about designs, styles and etc. What your dog wants is a place where it feels secure, relaxed, and comfortable.

Questions will come across your mind as soon as you plan to build a doghouse. Is the one I'm making really useful for my dog during winter and summer? Is my budget enough for this? How will I even decorate this one? Will I make it simple or luxurious? To better analyze with this situation, Plan first every single step you will do to build a functional kennel for your beagle.
Common materials for constructions are needed, such materials are nails, screws, hammer, saw, boards and ply sheets. These materials can be found at hardware stores or even at your house. If you have a puppy, measure it according to its full-grown size so you won't have any trouble when the dog reaches its full-grown state. Female dogs may also get pregnant in the future and this factor must be taken also in consideration.

Building a doghouse can easily be done through doghouse kits. All you have to do is to follow the instructions from the user's manual, get some tools and you are done. Owner's preferences are not followed with this kind of doghouse. Do-It-Yourself doghouse is the only way to achieve customization and doghouse styles.

You may even want the roof to be flat or angled. Though all of this is important, just remember that you do not compromise the main function of the roof just to satisfy your style. Whatever the style is, make sure that the water drains well.

Installing the doghouse in a higher ground is a good decision because it prevents water from accumulating in the area. Dogs usually soil at their den and is really hard to maintain and clean it, especially to spots where you cannot scrub it properly. A detachable flooring is recommended in such a way that it can be cleaned and maintained properly.

During a sunny day and during rainy days, lengthening your roof entrance would be a nice thing to do. This will provide shade, and a shelter during this kind of weather conditions. You may also build a three wall doghouse and the entrance would be wide and
