Some Tips On Choosing A Gardening Gift Basket

Many people enjoy working the soil, nurturing tender seedlings and then reaping the rewards of their efforts. Some avid gardeners seem to devote much of their time to cultivation, while others only participate on weekends. Regardless of the season, a gardening gift basket may make an ideal present for either a serious devotee or a weekend gardener.
Choosing a container that reflects the theme rather than a plain wicker design can make your gift stand out. Consider a useful tote, an unusual watering can or an attractive pot or planter. You might also choose to wrap a canvas organizer around an otherwise unremarkable pail or bucket.

A bar of luxurious hand soap might be a good item to include in the package. Consider a scent that reflects an outdoor theme, such as a floral or pine scent. It may be helpful to choose a moisturizing soap or include a tube of lotion in the same scent.

Choosing bulbs or seeds may be problematic unless you are certain you know the exact variety the recipient favors. If you know his or her preferences, a few high-quality bulbs or packets of seed could be included. Depending on the recipient, you might also include an item that you feel he or she would appreciate, such as some costly bulbs.
